Doing the polka in a Zumba class is a pretty rare event... (unless it's the Quebradita...) but the crowd enjoyed this simple version of The Beer Barrel Polka at this year's Oaktoberfest!

Das Zumba at Oaktoberfest!
At Dimond Zumba, we are so excited to finally be a part of Oaktoberfest! This event also features the return of instructor Kristen Caven, who is re-inventing her Zumba identity as "KRS-10."
Here's a picture of Zumba at an Oktoberfest event in Germany:
The half-hour demo will include:
- vintage polka
- hip-hop moves
- belly-dancing (wear your scarves!)
- 80s pop music
- and the regular mix of Latin music such as salsa, flamenco, and quebratita (a.k.a. "Mexican Polka).
See you next Saturday, October 5th! KRS-10 will be leading dancing (not "performing") at the Family Stage at 1:45p.m. Check out the lineup of other entertainment.

You asked for it, Jackie begged for it, and now we have it - Saturday Zumba classes!Because it's late in the church's calendar year, we were able to secure a few Saturdays through the holidays. We hope to add more frequent classes in the new year. The following is the Saturday schedule:
August 24 (THIS SATURDAY!) at 10am
September 28 at 10am
October 26 at 10am
November 2 at 10 am
November 23 at 10 am
Your class pass now has added value since you can use it on Saturdays too!
All classes to be held at Fruitvale Presbyterian Church - 2735 MacArthur Blvd.

Zombie Zumba this Saturday at Sequoia!
Join us for this weekend's Harvest Festival and Silent Auction, which is happening Saturday 10/27 from 10am - 2pm.
Come out and enjoy all the wonderful games, arts and crafts, pumpkins, photo booth, BBQ, Bake Sale, jumpy house, and a Zombie Zumba class just to name some of the things that will be going on in Sequoia's own playground, cafeteria and auditorium.

Don't forget we will be having a costume parade at 12:00pm so make sure the kids wear some costumes (and adults can too!!)
